THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO STARTING A BLOG
A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress site. They can extend functionality or add new features to your blog, such as security, calculators, different tools for promoting and optimizing the site, etc.
Here is a list off all the best plugins I use for my websites. Some of them are free and some you’ll need to purchase.
Must-Have WordPress Plugins for Every Blogger
A super awesome SEO (Search Engine Optimization) plugin that will help you optimize your blog for Google. This is one of the most popular SEO plugins that allows you to add tags, canonical, images, descriptions, and other features fast and easily. It also has a site-map feature that is essential for every website. I use its free version that is perfect for my needs.
WP Rocket is an amazing plugin that helped me optimize my website for speed. Google prioritizes fast and light websites and WP Rocket can help you achieve this goal fast and easily. If you want to rank high with your website you must use this plugin. It costs $49 for 1 website and you can get it here.
Take a look at the speed results I received when I tested my website BEFORE and AFTER installing WP Rocket plugin – Here are the screenshots:
You can see at these screenshots above that the results are insanely incredible! This is definitely a plugin I recommend purchasing because it is very important for your website SEO and marketing! Other useful features that this plugin provides are clearing cache and lazy load.
HEADER AND FOOTER SCRIPTS
For inserting different pixels and codes easily. This is another free plugin that I use frequently and it’s free! For example, I use it to insert Pinterest, Google tools, and other social media pixels.
WP RECIPE MAKER
This plugin is a must-have for food bloggers. It helps display recipes more easily and provides the “Print It” option and other awesome features. I use the free version, although there is a pro version that allows you to add nutrient values to your recipes.
This plugin allows you to use the old version of the WordPress page editor, which I think is more friendly than the new version.
WP Forms is a drag & drop WordPress form builder that allows you to build and display subscription forms on your website. I use this plugin on my website. This is a user-friendly plugin that is very easy to use and you can connect it to your preferred mailing service easily. I inserted the subscription form code to my sidebar and popup to sign up more readers to my newsletter.
Elementor is a drag and drop page builder. Makes it easier to create beautiful WordPress Pages and Websites.

CookieYes GDPR Cookie Consent & Compliance Notice Plugin
Helps you make your website GDPR (RGPD, DSVGO) compliant by adding a customized banner to your website that allows users to block cookies according to the consent given by the users, manage cookies, enable the users to accept or reject cookies, etc.
