Spring is my favorite time of year for crafting, and Easter is the perfect excuse to get started with new projects. The great thing about Easter crafts is that you don’t have to spend a fortune on supplies or make something overly complicated. These Easter decor ideas are so easy to DIY, but they still look fancy.

1. 2-Step Dollar Store Easter Eggs
These Easter eggs are gorgeous, and if you already have watercolor paint at home, you’ll only spend a few bucks on the eggs. The Honey and Juniper blog has a great tutorial on how to get this beautiful, speckled look for your eggs, which she found at the dollar store. I love how she placed them in a moss bed inside a gorgeous glass jar. No one will ever know you spent less than $10 on this Easter decoration.
2. Easy Dollar Tree Bunny Easter Eggs
These adorable bunny Easter eggs look fancy, but most of the supplies come straight from the dollar store. You’ll need bunny-shaped Easter eggs, baker’s twine, white pompoms, a hot glue gun and scissors. To make your bunnies, you’ll wrap the twine around the eggs, using hot glue to keep the twine in place. Add a pompom for the rabbit’s tail, and that’s it! Place them in a moss nest inside a covered cake stand.
3. DIY Bunny Topiary
These bunny topiaries look like an expensive piece of decor, but they’re so easy to make yourself using inexpensive supplies. You’ll need some bunny ears, two clear plastic bowls, some strong adhesive, green floral foam, floral moss and a pretty ribbon. Don’t forget to a flowerpot to place your topiary in.
4. DIY Raffia Easter Eggs
Raffia eggs are one of my favorite things to make for the holiday because they’re easy and look gorgeous with the right color and presentation. It’s one of my favorite Easter decor ideas, and the kids can even get involved.
You can even set cute little spring scenes inside of your eggs. To make these eggs, you’ll need decoupage, raffia, balloons, food coloring, and some cute little Easter decorations to put inside of your eggs. Follow the tutorial on BHG to bring this easy craft to life.
5. DIY Fabric Carrots
I love these fabric carrots because they’re a no-sew project, and you can get creative with the fabrics you use. They’re the perfect addition to your table centerpiece or other decor you’re making for the season. They’re super simple to make with just a few basic supplies, like fabric, faux greenery, fiber fill, fabric glue and hot glue.

6. DIY Easter Tree
This craft is so easy if you already have faux branches. Just place them in a milk pitcher and hang some egg ornaments from the branches. You can make the ornaments yourself using plastic eggs, glitter and ribbon.
7. DIY Paper Daffodils
Daffodils are one of the first signs of spring and are perfect for your Easter decor. These paper daffodils almost look real and can be added to other displays you have around the house. To make them, you’ll need a grapevine wreath, white and yellow craft paper, a glue gun and wavy scissors.
8. Clay Pot Carrot
I love this DIY clay pot carrot because you can use it after the holiday. It’s perfect for holding your candy and is the ideal addition to your other Easter decor. To make this craft, you’ll need a terra cotta pot with a clay saucer, orange acrylic paint, green felt and a glue gun.
9. Decoupage Easter Eggs
These decoupage Easter eggs look so fancy – no one will ever know you made them yourself. For the decoupage, I recommend using scrapbook paper with really pretty, spring-inspired patterns. The paper you use will make all the difference in how fancy your eggs look. You’ll need some paper mâché eggs (or foam eggs if you can’t find it), decoupage and brushes. It’s a simple but gorgeous project.
10. Pinecone Carrots
I love Easter decor ideas like this one because you can use natural materials, like pinecones you find in the forest. It’s a great excuse to take the kids out for a walk in nature. Attaching your pinecone carrots to a DIY wooden Home sign makes this project look even fancier. To make this, you’ll need some large pinecones, scrap wood board, paint, greenery and a wood cutout.
11. Embroidery Hoop Pocket Wreath
Here’s a gorgeous Easter craft that’s easy to make and looks super fancy. You can customize it to match your home or taste if you’re not a fan of purple florals. You’ll need an embroidery hoop, burlap, a wood cutout, ribbon and florals of your choosing.
12. Shaving Cream Easter Eggs
Shaving cream Easter eggs are super easy to make and a lot of fun. Kids will love this craft because it’s a bit messy, and you’ll need shaving cream, acrylic paint, a paintbrush, paper towels, scraper tool and card stock for this project.
13. DIY Peep Vase with Flowers
Peeps add color to your creation and are edible, so chances are, someone will end up eating them. And once you make the rim of the vase filled with peeps, you’ll add another, smaller glass container in the middle that you’ll fill with water,
Add in some flowers and you’re done with this craft.

Terracotta pots are the base of this craft, but when you see the little rabbit feet hanging over the side, it will make your heart melt. You’ll need a few things for this craft, such as a bunch of fake greenery, white pom poms, felt and a handful of other materials.
And don’t forget the pink, sparkly paw prints.
15. 5-step Egg Topiary
Easter decor ideas that look this professional are often not this fast and easy to create. You’ll need some foam cones and plastic eggs to get started. If you have some hot glue and Spanish moss, you’ll be well on your way to making this unique craft.
You can choose any base you like to complete the look.
16. Jute Carrots
What do bunnies love? Carrots! These adorable jute carrots are perfect for spring and great for Easter. You’ll want to use foam cones and some jute twine to make the carrots. A ribbon and a few fake leaves will do the trick to make the carrot more realistic.
17. Twine-wrapped Plastic Eggs
Plastic eggs and a bit of twine are all you need for this craft. You can easily affix the twine to the eggs for a cute, Easter-inspired craft. And if you don’t have any old plastic eggs sitting around, be sure to find the cheapest ones you can.

If you have a beautiful window in your home that everyone flocks to because of the natural light that floods in, this craft is perfect for you. Even younger kids will be able to make this Easter egg suncatcher.

I’m sorry for all of the gnome-related ideas, but I absolutely love them. Sock gnomes are a real treat, and Craft-Mart does a fantastic job showing you how to make them step-by-step.
Faux fur is a must-have for this gnome, along with:

Easter decor ideas that incorporate bunny gnomes? I’m not sure I’ve seen anything this cute for Easter before. With that in mind, you’ll need just a handful of items that you can easily find online or in your favorite craft store:
- Pompom
- Fur ball pompom
- Felt
- Ribbon or fabric
- Felt bunny ears
- Glue gun

21. Pinecone Lilacs
Pinecones. Lilacs. What’s not to love? I adore the metal vase that is used in this tutorial, but I couldn’t seem to find an exact match. I did find some from Chumia that look great and another from Soyizom, which is equally nice.
The pinecones are easy enough to find outside (you can purchase some online if you don’t have pines nearby), and then a few fake stems and leaves will do the trick to finish this craft.
22. Flower Pot Bunnies
I love this cute flower pot idea because it’s so easy to make and you have a lot of options to choose from, too. You can paint the terracotta pots (like these) or buy colorful plastic ones (like these).
You’ll then add a foam sheet that matches the pot for the bunny ears and glue it all together.
And, of course, you’ll also need to paint on the rabbit’s face to complete the look.
23. Pompom Easter Chick
Crafting is so much fun, and if you have little helpers, it’s even better because everyone has their own unique touch. Adorable bunnies are reminiscent of Easter, and this tutorial outlines every step you need to take to recreate this bunny.
What will you need?
Just a few items, such as yellow yarn, ribbon, orange foam sheet, googly eyes and orange pipe cleaner. You’ll also need a few crafting basics, such as your hot glue gun and scissors.
And in just 20 minutes or less, you’ll be done with your pompom Easter chick.
