Finger food desserts are perfect at Easter. Guests love to pick up a sweet treat to eat, and you’ll spend much less time cleaning dishes. If you’re planning a party or small gathering this Easter (even if it’s just immediate family), the desserts below are a great option.
21+ Fancy Easter Finger Food Desserts To Make For Your Party
1. Puff Pastry Lemon Flowers
Vegan and delicious, these puff pastry flowers are always a delightful addition to a party. You’ll cut puff pastry into a flower shape using one of these cookie cutters and then place them inside a muffin tin.
Bake until golden and then fill with a lemon filling.
You can use a piping bag to make the designs more intricate, too.
2. Mini Cheesecake
Small cheesecakes like these fit into cupcake cups, and they’re filled with flavor (and color). Begin by adding biscuits to a food processor and chopping them up. Pour in melted butter and mix until it’s fully covering the chopped cookies.
Prepare your muffin tin and then pour in your mixture. Use the bottom of a glass to push the mixture into the cups.
In a separate bowl, add butter, vanilla and sugar. Mix well, add an egg and continue mixing until you achieve a smooth texture. Pipe the mix into your muffin cups, on top of the biscuit crumbs, and bake. Cover with your glaze and toppings of choice, including fresh berries.
3. Custard-filled Puff Pastry Cups
Puff pastry cups are one of my fave finger food desserts. You’ll cut the puff pastry into large circular shapes and then push a solid object in the middle to make a well. Use the bottom of a cup or glass to achieve this effect.
Bake and then remove from the oven when your pastry is golden brown.
Fill with jams and custards to your liking. If you want to make your dessert even sweeter, sprinkle confectioner’s sugar on top. And as is tradition with Easter desserts, add raspberries on top for additional flavor and color.
4. Apple Pastry Flowers
I don’t know how to properly explain what this dessert is, but I think a flowery apple pastry is a good start. You’ll cut a red apple into thin strips and cook them in a mixture of water and lemon juice until they’re soft.
Roll out your puff pastry, spread apricot jam on it and then line the edges with apple pieces. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and fold up one side of the pastry to cover as much of the apple pieces as you can.
Roll, place in a muffin tin and bake.
5. Strawberry Cheesecake Danish
Wow Cool Stuff shared this great recipe for a cheesecake danish that’s made with just a handful of ingredients:
- Cream cheese
- Icing sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Strawberries
- Sheet pastry
- Egg
- Water
- Sugar
- Milk
Simple and easy to make, you’ll be eating this danish in no time.
6. Raspberry Crumble Bars
Crumble bars are a sweet treat that you’ll really enjoy. You’ll start by adding salted butter, granulated sugar and plain flour together in a large bowl. Combine well with your hands until the mix turns into dough.
Press into a ball, cut in half and then set one half aside.
In the meantime, place four small balls onto a baking dish and push down using a spoon. Smooth out. While baking, add raspberries, sugar, corn flour, lemon juice and raspberry jam into a bowl.
Combine well until the mixture is the consistency of slush. Spoon onto your cooled base, smooth out with the bottom of the spoon and then break small pieces of dough on top. Bake again and enjoy.
7. Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Cones
Cheesecake cones are the ideal finger food desserts, and they look picture-perfect, too. Sweet and delectable, you’ll make a basic peach cobbler from the following ingredients:
- Peaches
- Granulated sugar
- Salt
- Butter
- All-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Milk
- Ground cinnamon
You’ll then buy cones and fill them with the cobbler mix. Complete by topping with whipped cream and a cherry (or anything you like).

Lotus cheesecakes are fun to make and look so good. You’ll break this recipe down into multiple parts:
- Crushed Lotus Biscoff cookies
- Melted butter
- Cream cheese
- Whole heavy cream
- Vanilla
- Powdered sugar
- Lotus Biscoff spread
Follow along with the video in the Pin above to learn how to make it.
9. Mini Cannoli Cups
Mini cannoli cups are made with refrigerated pie crusts, raw sugar and ground cinnamon for the cups themselves. Your filling will be made from:
- Whole-milk ricotta cheese
- Powdered sugar
- Granulated sugar
- Orange or lemon zest
- Vanilla
For your garnish, you’ll sprinkle on finely chopped pistachios and mini chocolate chips. Sprinkle on powdered sugar when you’re done. Love Bakes Good Cakes walks you through making these delightful cannoli cups.
10. Mini Tiramisu Cups
Indulgent doesn’t begin to explain how sweet these cups really are. Effortless and elegant, you’ll use layers of creamy mascarpone and rich espresso to make your cups. On top, you’ll add whipped cream, chocolate and garnish.
Cinnamon or chocolate flakes are a topping I recommend, but it’s 100% up to you.
11. Blueberry Pastry
Similar to one of the previous recipes on this list, you’ll cut your puff pastry with a circular baking ring (like this one). Using two different size rings, you’ll make an indented inner and outer ring, which you’ll then brush with egg.
Bake and then remove the middle so that you can fill it.
Fill the interior with the custard of your choosing and then top with berries. Blueberries are the author’s recommendation, but you can add any berry or fruit that you like.
12. Mini Raspberry Cheesecake
If you have 45 minutes, you can make these raspberry cheesecakes. You’ll make a homemade crust layer out of Graham crackers, granulated sugar and unsalted butter. For your actual cheesecake layer, you’ll need:
- Cream cheese
- Eggs
- Vanilla extract
- Sugar
And for the raspberry preserves, the recipe calls for frozen raspberries, cornstarch, sugar and water. Start by crushing your graham crackers in a zip-lock bag and mix with sugar and melted butter.
Place them in cupcake liners in your muffin tin and press the bottoms with a small cup.
While your mixture is baking, make your filling by beating all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Fill each of your cups, bake for an additional 20 minutes and top with raspberry preserves.
13. Mini Key Lime Pie Bites
Bite-sized key lime pies are finger food desserts that are a lot easier to make than I assumed. You’ll need a handful of ingredients:
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Sour cream
- Key lime juice
- Lime zest
- Mini phyllo shells
Optional garnishes include stabilized cream, graham cracker crumbs and a lime cut into small pieces.
Blue’s Best Life walks you through the five steps of this recipe, but it’s as simple as mixing your ingredients, spooning them into the phyllo cups, baking on a baking tray, allowing them to cool and then adding garnish.
14. Mini Sugar Cookie Fruit Tarts
Small, sweet, healthy and colorful, these fruit tarts from The Baker Chick are a great way to ring in the warmer weather. I recommend an electric mixer for this recipe, which is simple to make:
- Make cookie dough with butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, flour and other dry ingredients. Mix until smooth and then make into balls that fit into your mini-muffin tin.
- Bake for 10 minutes and use a wooden spoon to make an indent in the middle of each ball.
- Fill with your cream cheese filling when cooled.
- Top with the fruits of your choice and serve.

15. Mini Apple Pies
Who doesn’t like mini apple pies like these? You’ll use a muffin tin for this recipe, which you’ll fill with a crust made of:
- All-purpose flour
- Fresh rosemary
- White sugar
- Salt
- Unsalted butter
- Ice water
For your filling, you’ll make a traditional apple pie filling made out of peeled and diced apples, white and brown sugar, ground cinnamon, all-purpose flour and a large egg.
If you have a food processor, you’ll get through this recipe much faster.
16. Mini Fruit Tarts
How cute are these mini fruit tarts? You’ll find that I Heart Naptime’s video on how to make this is simple to follow. And there’s an entire blog post with the recipe, too, if you prefer reading the recipe.
You’ll make a crust from all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, salt, butter and water. Custard is made from milk, vanilla bean paste, egg yolks, granulated sugar, cornstarch and unsalted butter.
Top with fresh blueberries and raspberries.
17. Cannoli Bites
Six ingredients are all you need for these delectable bites:
- Pie crust
- Ricotta cheese
- Mascarpone cheese
- Powdered sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Mini chocolate chips
Cut your pie crust with a baking ring, push into a mini muffin cup. In the meantime, mix your ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract and remaining ingredients together, pipe into the center and bake.
18. Boston Cream Pie Cookies
Do you have thirty minutes? You can whip up these Boston cream pie cookies in no time. Use yellow cake mix, eggs and butter to make your cookie cup. Homemade whipped cream can be made with instant vanilla pudding, whipped cream and milk.
Add a chocolate ganache made from sweet baking chips and whipped cream.
19. Lemon Cheesecake Bites
Cheesecake bites are perfect finger food desserts that come together in 30 minutes or so. Your cream cheese becomes the base of your bites, while granulated sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract add flavor.
Shortbread cookies (any variety that you like) compliment the lemon flavors.
20. Tiramisu Tartlets
While this recipe takes over 1.5 hours to make, it’s worth it with the pop of flavor that it provides. A cream mixture made of thickened cream, mascarpone cheese, caster sugar and vanilla extract is topped with a coffee ganache of:
- Dark chocolate
- Thickened cream
- Brown sugar
- Granulated sugar
And it all comes together in a tartlet shell.
21. Mini Salted Chocolate Tarts
Tart shells made from unsalted butter, granulated sugar, egg yolk, vanilla extract and all-purpose flour are fast and easy to make. You’ll fill them with a filling mix of semisweet chocolates and heavy cream.
Add in sea salt flakes and you’re done.
