Summer is blueberry season, and nothing beats the flavor (and nutrients) of freshly harvested berries. Our family loves to go blueberry picking at this time of year, and we’re always looking for new recipes to use up the huge harvest we always bring home. Today, I want to share my favorite fresh blueberry recipes, starting with our favorite: clafoutis.
25+ Delicious Blueberry Recipes to Make All Summer Long
1. Clafoutis
Clafoutis is a classic French dessert that you can make with a variety of fruits – in this case, blueberries. The berries are cooked in a custard-like batter, which is divine. This dessert is similar to a galette or crostata in that it’s made with simple baking ingredients. You’ll need fresh blueberries (of course), flour, butter, whole milk, cherries, vanilla, sugar and eggs.
2. Blueberry Cobbler
You can’t have a list of blueberry recipes without cobbler. This old-fashioned recipe is super easy to make, and everyone will love it. You’ll need all of the classic baking ingredients, along with cornstarch (to make the blueberry sauce), buttermilk, cinnamon and lemon juice.
This cobbler is really the perfect dessert for any summer meal. Make sure that you use fresh blueberries for this dish. Frozen ones will add extra liquid and make it harder to create that thick blueberry sauce you want.

You’ll also need some avocado, cucumbers, onion, goat cheese, pumpkin seeds and a simple homemade lemon dressing that’s delicious.
4. Spicy Blueberry Burgers
Here’s a fun recipe to try if you’re grilling burgers. These burgers are topped with a delicious blueberry sauce and jalapeno aioli for a mix of sweet, spicy and savory.
