4. Crab Poke Bowls
Made with imitation crab meat, this poke bowl is a satisfying dish that you’ll look forward to eating at lunchtime.
It’s an explosion of flavors, thanks to the mango, jalapeno, avocado, spicy mayo and balsamic glaze. It’s spicy, sweet and a little tangy.
Feel free to add or remove ingredients – this dish is so flexible.
5. Salmon and Avocado Poke Bowl
I love this poke bowl because salmon is one of the healthiest foods on the planet. But you can’t just use any salmon for this dish; you’ll need sushi-grade.
Pair it with sushi rice, avocado, green onions, cucumber, radishes, nori and pickled ginger. Top it all off with a drizzle of soy sauce and sesame oil for that umami flavor you love.
6. Miso Chicken Poke Bowls
Not a fan of seafood? You’ll love this poke bowl recipe. It marinates tender chicken thighs in a delicious miso marinade with fresh ginger, white miso, soy sauce, honey, vinegar and oil.
I like to cook my chicken in an air fryer, but you can bake it if that’s what you prefer.
Add sushi rice and top with a delicious sweet chili jam dressing.
You can add any toppings you want to your dish, including carrots, cucumbers, scallions and cilantro.
7. Crab Salad Poke Bowl
One of my favorite spicy poke bowl recipes. It has so many delicious components. A tangy sushi rice base, spicy crab salad that mixes imitation crab meat with sriracha and mayo, salad add-ins and a tasty sauce.
This recipe calls for adding seaweed salad, pickled daikon, avocado, carrots, cucumber and scallions. I love this combo, but you can mix it up if you want.
The sauce is a combination of mirin, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar and cornstarch.
8. Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl with Ponzu Sauce
The homemade ponzu sauce is what makes this dish really special. The flavors pair perfectly with the poke bowl’s ingredients: sushi-grade ahi tuna, cooked rice, avocado, cucumber, mango, jalapeno and shelled edamame.

The ponzu sauce is made of soy sauce, orange juice, lime juice and mirin.

10. Tofu Poke Bowls
A vegetarian-friendly poke bowl featuring a sweet cucumber salad, sweet chili tofu and spicy mayo.
While this recipe calls for rice, you can use quinoa if you prefer. Avocado, nori and green onions add more flavor to this dish.
If you want, you can also add shredded carrots and whatever other ingredients you like.
11. Healthy Tuna Poke Bowl
A quick and tasty poke bowl featuring marinated sashimi tuna, sushi rice and a delicious mango cucumber salad.
The salad is a mix of fresh cucumbers, mango, jalapeno, orange bell pepper, onion and lime.
To serve, divide the rice among your bowls, top with a portion of marinated tuna, add a serving of mango salad and garnish with green onions. I also like to add cilantro and some furikake.
12. Low Carb Salmon Poke Bowls
Low-carb poke bowl recipes are hard to come by, but this one is golden. And as you may have guessed, it swaps out the classic rice base for cauliflower rice.
You can make the cauliflower rice yourself, or you can buy pre-riced cauliflower to save time.
The recipe calls for smoked nova salmon, but you can use sushi-grade if you prefer. Just add some cucumber, shelled edamame, avocado and radishes to complete your dish. Garnish with sesame seeds and top it all off with Skinny Yum Yum Sauce.
13. Vegan Watermelon Poke Bowl
A tasty vegan take on the classic tuna poke bowl. Instead of tuna, you’ll be using watermelon. The watermelon bakes in the oven for 1 hour to remove the moisture. Then, you’ll marinate it in soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, ginger, chili powder and nori.
Just add your favorite vegetables and rice to finish things off. Cabbage, carrots, cucumber, green onions, avocado and edamame are all great options. But feel free to get creative if you want.
Using watermelon may seem like a crazy idea, but it mimics the flavor and texture of tuna perfectly.
14. Ginger Chicken Poke Bowl
There’s so much to love about this dish. The ginger chicken has the umami flavor we all love, thanks to the white miso, ginger, garlic, sugar, rice vinegar and soy sauce.
But this bowl also features some interesting ingredients, like kimchi, pineapple, pickled veggie slaw and jalapeno.
Plus, the spicy sriracha mayo dressing adds an extra kick to this dish, which blends traditional and unique ingredients.
The recipe is easy to make and won’t take hours to prepare. Just bake the chicken, assemble your bowls and enjoy.
15. Korean Ahi Poke
A poke bowl with a hint of gochugaru. For this dish, you’ll need ahi tuna sashimi (marinated in a spicy sauce), cucumber salad and all the usual add-ins for a poke bowl.
I love the addition of seaweed salad and chopped lettuce, which adds something different from the normal poke bowls.
Garnish with sesame seeds and gim with a light drizzle of sesame oil.
You’ll need to let the tuna marinate for an hour, so plan ahead for making this recipe.
16. Seared Steak Poke Bowls
This recipe swaps out the usual tuna for seared steak and adds some different ingredients into the mix, like cherry tomatoes.
You’ll still add avocado, spring onions and seaweed salad, though. I like to top it with furikake, but it’s up to you whether you want to add it.
Although this poke bowl is really simple, it’s delicious and flavorful. The tomatoes add something unique and pair so well with all of the other ingredients.
I’ve also made this recipe with quinoa and cauliflower rice, both of which were excellent.
17. Quinoa Poke Bowl
One of our favorite poke bowl recipes for those times when we’re just tired of eating rice. The quinoa is the only real difference here between this recipe and other classic poke bowls.
But this time, you’ll be searing your ahi tuna steaks.
Apart from these small differences, this is a pretty traditional poke bowl. You’ll need mango, avocado, edamame, cucumber, greens, green onion and furikake.
You’ll love the poke sauce, which is made of avocado oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and maple syrup. It’s slightly sweet and slightly tangy.
Once you’ve seared your tuna, you can assemble your bowls and top with the poke sauce.
18. Poke Bowl with Pickled Ginger and Seaweed Salad
This is one of the most colorful poke bowls we’ve made. We added red cabbage and watermelon radishes, although the recipe doesn’t call for it (the bowl’s photo has both of these ingredients).
They are great additions to this recipe, and I highly recommend that you add them.
Apart from these two tasty vegetables, you’ll also need sushi rice, sushi-grade tuna, pickled ginger and seaweed salad. Top with soy sauce or a drizzle of spicy sriracha mayo if you like.

Top the whole dish off with sriracha mayo for a kick of flavor and spice.
